Wisconsin blizzard: Snowfall totals for March 15-16
The NWS is collecting snowfall data after a blizzard warning and winter storm that impacted southeast Wisconsin from Sunday into Monday.

A powerful winter storm brought heavy snow and high winds, prompting the National Weather Service to issue a blizzard warning for the entire region. The storm began Saturday with rain and sleet before transitioning to heavy snow Sunday night into Monday morning.
Snow accumulations could be as high as 18 inches if the heaviest band of snow hits Milwaukee directly, NWS says.
Winds peaked near 60 mph and will slowly go down this evening. By late tonight, gusts should only reach 30 mph.
