MILITARY MUSIC TRADITIONS | The bugle call "Tattoo" signals that all lights are to be extinguished and all loud noises and talking are to stop one hour after the call is sounded. This bugle call dates back to the 17th century, and was used to summon troops back to their garrison for the nightly roll call. Here, the call was sounded by Technical Sgt. MILITARY MUSIC TRADITIONS | Bugle calls are often thought of as a solo act, but several calls are actually sounded with mulitple buglers together! Heard here, Adjutant's Call is played by the entire trumpet section of the Ceremonial Brass. This call is a signal for the Commander of Troops to take his or her place in front of the formation before a ceremony, and is typically heard just before a march is played to move the troops into position. | The United States Air Force Band
