Dallas SWAT Incident: Suspect Fatally Shot During Search Warrant Execution On February 20, 2026, at approximately 10:05 a.m., the Dallas Police Department SWAT team executed a search warrant at a residence located in the 1000 block of Shaw Street. As officers approached the front door, the suspect emerged armed with a firearm. In response, a SWAT officer discharged his weapon, injuring the suspect, who subsequently died at the scene.
