So this was the first time I ever observed a Cuban Anole in the act of cannibalism in my garden. After doing some research, these lizards are opportunistic feeders. They eat a lot of pests in the garden, but they will snack on other lizards when the opportunity arises. While the Cuban anoles are helpful in the garden, they are not native like the Green Anole.
