The gradual release model (“I do → we do → you do”) is my favorite way to teach the Olympic lifts. It starts with high coach responsibility (clear demo, specific cues, guided reps) and gradually shifts toward high athlete responsibility (feeling, fixing, and owning your movement) In a 60–90 min session: I DO: Demo the lift, break down positions, set the intent.
